Throughout the year in between breeding projects and flower runs i sometimes come across what we call a "hitchhiker". This term is commonly used for a seed that has been dropped from a plant used in a breeding project and subsequently sprouting the next season in the reuse of the soil/medium or beds.
Follow us on Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/humboldtseeds Throughout the season the odd hitchhiker makes its way into the garden….most of the time if female, i tend to flower the plant out for headstash and also out of curiosity of what the genetic actually was that made it through the winter. Some of my favorite hitchhiker headstash was the ASD x Tripple OG we made a few years ago, which i ended up getting 2 female hitchhikers from in my soil i was using the following year for an early Autoflowering run. Keep posted and check back on our blog and instagram feeds for more "hitchhiker" pics and stories. Big hugs!! Ras – HSO Team
