Humboldt County, California has help to evolve some of the most resistant and productive varieties on the planet. With large selection pools drawn from every year and driven by extreme climatic changes has create a community of superior growers and breeders alike. The Blue Dream is an immaculate reflection of the new age hybrid lineage movement.
DJ Short's Blueberry X Super Silver Haze has resulted in a modern day icon, the Blue Dream. Rapid and aggressive vegetative growth combined with a vigorous root system makes for short periods indoors before inducing the flowering cycle. Strong and hearty infrastructure allows for minimum attention during the beginning stages. Trellising is recommended as the SCROG method reigns supreme when maintaining this variety.
Long inter-nodal stacking results in huge terminal sites, which typically go 70-77 days. This sativa leaning hybrid is unique in it's ability to produce substance all the way to the bottom of the stem. Finishing with very high oil content, matched by blue and silver hues, the Blue Dream is unmistakably beautiful, producing remarkable yields at over 1-1.5 grams per watt.
Outdoors production value is met with an equal amount of size and resistance. Cages are absolutely recommended as the Blue Dream can tower up to 15 feet in height and width. This is contingent upon pot size, lines of latitude and longitude as well as the feeding schedule of the plant. Secondary soft trellising is recommended as well to support massive terminal sites. Blue Dream can be harvested from the middle to the end of October. Yields have been seen at over 6 kilos per plant.
The flavor profile is a vibrant fusion of sharp pepper and fuel overtones followed by an equally sweet berry finish. These aromas transfer directly back to the flavor, providing a very smooth and enjoyable smoke. The effect of Blue Dream is what has captivated so many different types of people over the years. An upbeat, uplifting and energizing high has euphoric effects with a light and relaxing finish as it's great for creative thinking and outdoor daytime use.
With so many varieties appearing in the Humboldt Seed Organization's line-up, this grower friendly strain is one for all skill levels. Blue Dream has pushed the limits of what is possible in the world of high quality cannabis. HSO will continue the passionate journey of exploration into the world of this mysterious and ever sacred plant.
I have one plant growing outdoors. It's 60 days old and about 4 feet high. It's growing vigorously in its vegetative phase. I will give a detailed report in October.
This plant is a producer, not to mention beautiful. If left to grow natural you end up with a plant that at least doubles in size, if not more, with one massive main cola and several huge side colas. This plant must have support for the side colas because these buds are branch breakers. It produces plenty of resin with dense buds with huge calyxes that produce big beautiful white hairs that recede into a golden redish-brown at harvest time when the trichomes are milky white. So if you are looking for a great all around plant, you cant go wrong with HSO's Blue Dream.
I started 3 seeds of blue dream and they all turned out to be bad in my preception. Big buds but very fluffy and not potent bud. But two thumbs up on blue cheese. and hso amherst sour deisel it is dense and very potent
Yes I recently purchased your 70/30 sativa dominant blue dream seeds seeds from seeds man. I can only grow a plant like 40". Can I still get a good grow if I follow you're instructions above?
I was lucky enough to come across this strain four years ago. Blue Dream is still in my garden to this day! It is an amazing strain, fast veg growth, topping them small and then super cropping the tallest tops every so often will give you a very good sized plant in a short amount of time, that's as wide as she is tall. Make sure to give her roots room to grow. Blue dream is the only strain I was able to keep after my rooms experienced a powdery mildew break out. I was able to keep the Blue Dream because it never "got" powdery mildew.. Three years later and have never seen a spot.
I grew a 4 from pack 5 Humboldt Seed Org Blue Dream with 440watts Timber LED CXB200 and Vero240 Good variation and easy to find keepers Ive been growing HSO for years now Indoor and Out. Blue Dream, Green Crack are always in Indicas Garden. Coco/Perlite with Botanicare Nutes
