After many years of tried and tested genetics in the Humboldt Family circle a few iconic classics have transcended the onslaught of change brought on by the hybrid movement. Pineapple Skunk is definitely one of those strains. Known for quick and high yielding finishes, setting up to be done in the beginning of October. Traditionally known as Old Sweet Skunk, these genetics have been around for over two decades. Fast vegetative growth requires more nitrogen but as always we recommend a balanced diet with attention to trace minerals. With broad fan leaves and vigorous foliage development, a small amount of time is need to move into the flowering cycle. The flowering period indoors take about eight weeks to completion. Plants will close to double in size.Trellising is recommended due to the large production value. Long inter-nodal sites assisted by good spacing between fan leaves results in excellent secondary development finishing rock hard to the bottom of the stem. It's important to keep humidity levels low for the finish as density is inevitable with this gem. Pineapple Skunk is well renown for its outdoor performance. Finishing in the first week of October, some even lean towards the end of September. P-Skunk can reach heights of 10 feet and under many circumstances doesn't need to be topped. Cages are definitely recommended as well as a secondary trellis to support massive development as the terminal sites can be adjusted laterally as they increase in size. Trellising is our specialty and we have found this to be quite effective in securing maximum production value especially for light depravation.
The flavor profile says sweet all over it. Pungent overtones of pineapple and citrus are followed by spicy accents with an incredibly smooth finish. The effects of the HSO Pineapple Skunk are quite cerebral. With moderate usage it can be a functional high but is definitely advised for the end of the day. Great for relaxation and appetite stimulation. The combination of size, resistance, flavor and short flowering period has resulted in a masterful cash crop phenotype provided by the one and only Humboldt Seed Organization. RESISTANCE X YIELD X FLAVOR =HSO
my pineapple skunk is outside in my backyard, expected 1.5 , 2 kilos off of it. These plants grow amazing. Topped her twice, her stem is like a tree trunk over 4" diameter. Started from a fem seed in late March indoors under cfl. Brought her out in may and planted her on the 24th. Aug 7th today and shes still in veg maybe starting to preflower. almost 6 feet tall now. Can't wait for harvest ! thanks HSO
